Weekend retreat -- Bikram Saluja

Model-turned-theatre actor Bikram Saluja is an outdoors man. When he is not flashing his best smile for the camera or acting in the play Vasavadatta, he can be found on Juhu beach. "To unwind is to work out," says Bikram. At one time, Bikram was a serious tennis player with national level potential, but modelling took over. He spends his weekends with friends and goes either for a movie or dinner. "I do like to party once in a while. But if you ever catch me at a disco or a pub, you'll see me sitting in a corner with a fresh lime soda, since I neither drink nor smoke," he says.Occasionally, Bikram likes to let his hair down and go dancing -- on Saturday's only. "These days I am busy studying for my DBM exams. And when I am not studying, I am tied up with the play," he says. But no matter how hectic his schedule is, Bikram never misses his Sunday night jog on the beach. "It helps me release my energy and it's so peaceful to go jogging at night," he says.
