DPS student to attend UNESCO meet
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
Shradha Chowdhury, a student of DPS R.K Puram has been chosen to represent the Asia-Pacific region at the UNESCO meet of N.G.O's at Bangkok. She would be giving a speech at the opening ceremony and also present a few items of Odissi dance.After attending the Bangkok meeting, Shradha has also been invited to participate in a U.N meeting of governments to discuss how the concerns of young people can be heard in national and international policy making forums. DPS R.K. Puram had also sent a delegation of two students headed by its vice-principal to represent India at the Asia-Pacific World Heritage Youth Forum at Beijing in September'97.
