PUNE, June 3: Preeti Sapse scored a comprehensive 9-11, 11-8, 11-3 victory over Priyanka Shah in the sub-junior girls' quarter-finals singles at the ongoing eleventh Rainbow Open Junior State Badminton tournament here today. In another quarater-finals match, Gauri Narayan defeated Neha Wad 11-4, 11-6.Meanwhile, in the boys section top seed Amar Mohite of Nagpur had not no difficulty in dispatching Shiben Rawat of Pune in straight games 15-5, 15-4. City lad Nikhil Lokhande was given a run for his money by compatriot Varun Khanvalkar who matched Nikhil point for point. However, the patient Nikhil eventually went home happy taking the second and third 15-10, 15-11 after losing the opener 8-15.
