All-round display by Rana

NEW DELHI, June 9: Ambassador Sky Chef defeated Collage Group by six wickets to enter the final of the 3rd Khazan Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament at the Paschim Vihar sports complex. The highlight of the match was a fine all-round display by man of the match K S Rana (38 n.o and 3 for 23) and a half century by opener Jagjeet Singh (51). Ambassador Sky will meet Krishi Export in final.Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Collage Group lost five wickets for 65 runs. Only Sanjay Varma (43) and Virender Sehwag (34) scored freely in the face of some accurate bowling by Ashok (3 for 19), Mohd Atiq (2 for 26) and K S Rana (3 for 23). Collage Group folded up for 145 in 31.3 overs. In reply , Ambassador Sky Chef achieved the target in 27.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Jagjeet was the top scorers with 51 runs.
