Magistrate passes away

GURGAON, June 9: The newly-appointed city magistrate of Gurgaon, Gurdep Singh died here late yesterday night. Singh who joined as the city magistrate on June 4 had returned yesterday morning from his native village, Biranbad in Fatehabad district.After supper at a local rest house, Singh took some medicines and reportedly vomited. His peon who was present at the rest house informed the deputy commissioner about his condition. Singh died before the doctors reached the rest house.Sources said that Gurdev Singh was reportedly undergoing treatment at the Rohtak Medical College.Civil surgeon, Dr N. K. Jain said that the exact of death will be known after the visceral examination. Dr Jain said that Singh was suffering from some liver ailment.
