Vikrant's fate may be decided on June 23

MUMBAI, June 10: The Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) may take a final decision on clearing the site for berthing the Vikrant in a meeting of the board of trustees on June 23. The report of the MbPT's sub-committee to study the navy and state government's proposal to convert the Vikrant into a museum off the Radio Club may also be presented then.Meanwhile, a meeting of the sub-committee proposal was held at the Port Trust today. Chaired by Rajiv Sinha, MbPT deputy chairperson, the meeting was attended by Port Trust officials and committee members Commodore Saluja and Essar's Captain B S Kumar.
