Gujarat seeks NGO help

VADODARA, June 10: Gujarat Minister for Narmada Development and Irrigation Projects Jaynarayan Vyas has sought the cooperation of various non-governmental organisations in awarding compensation and rehabilitating the people affected by the Sardar Sarovar Project (SSP).Addressing a meeting of NGOs in the state, Vyas said all NGOs and welfare organisations should join the government for the next two years to extend ``all possible help'' to those hit by the ongoing project.
