Dogra helps Chand Khanna win

NEW DELHI, June 10: An all-round display by Sumit Dogra (3 for 34 and 63 n.o) helped Chand Khanna c.c beat Indian Airlines by six wickets in the final of the Lala Raghubir Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament at the Modern School ground.

Put into bat first, Indian Airlines were well served by J.Arun Kumar (49) and Fazal Khalil (34). At one stage Airlines were 156 for 8 but Abdul Qayoom and Vineet Jain added 37 runs for the unbroken ninth wicket.

Chand Khanna in reply reached the target of 179, which was set as the overs were reduced to 37 due to rain, when they made 182 for 4 in 32.5 overs. Summit Dogra was named the man of the match.
