No Pak tilt, just healthy inclination for J&K: US
Angrily denying that there was any American tilt towards Islamabad, US Assistant Secretary of State Rick Inderfurth said the Kashmir dispute was an international reality that could not be wished away and called on India and Pakistan to address the matter bilaterally. He further commented that there was no tilt in their policy.

CIA goes on a hiring spree to revamp image
Shredded by the American press, public, and legislature for its failure to anticipate and forecast India's nuclear tests, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is going on a hiring binge to staff its empty trenches and benches. It is also opting for an image makeover to regain its battered credibility.

It's G8 versus P5 in nuke talks
The Group of Eight industrialised countries meeting in London on Thursday to discuss India, Pakistan and Kashmir face an awkward task, disarmament negotiators in Geneva say. On the one hand, the group comprising four of the five nuclear weapons states is required to reflect the strong language of the P5 and the United Nations Security Council, censuring both countries for their nuclear tests.
