G-8 references on Indo-Pak intrusive: India

NEW DELHI, June 13: India today firmly rejected the group of eight industrialised nations reference to Indo-Pak issues, including Kashmir, terming it as "coercive and intrusive" and asserted there was no place for outside involvement of "any kind whatsoever".Declaring that India cannot consider any prescriptions which had the effect of undermining its independene, New Delhi in a strong reaction to the G-8 joint communique said instead of offering "homilies", the group should reflect on "positive gestures" made by it in recent weeks.
