Sampras ousted

LONDON, June 12: Mark Woodforde beat Pete Sampreas 6-3, 6-2 in the Queen's Club tennis tournament, today. In addition to its top seed, Queen's also lost no. 2 Greg Rusedski of Britain, who suffered an ankle injury today during his third-round match against Italian qualifier Laurence Tieleman.

Seventh-seeded Tim Henman of Britain reached the quarter-finals with a 6-1, 6-7 (7-5), 6-4 victory over 1997 champion and 10th-seeded Goran Ivanisevic. 14th-seeded Byron Black of Zimbabwe defeated Brian Macphie (US) 7-5, 6-1.
