In Surat, about nine police inspectors were sitting idle, either posted to the control room or seeking posting. The transferred police officers include Devendra Bhatt (PCB), Girish Patel (License Branch), B R Patel (Control room), Chinoy (special branch), M A Malek (control room), N N Pathan (Traffic), K K Maysorwala (traffic), Mayur Chauhan (reader branch), H N Vaghela (airport) and Jadhav (control room).
