DU tie-up with two national laboratories

NEW DELHI, June 14: The Delhi University has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) to train a new generation of scientists in biomedical sciences.Under the MoUs, which is a first for Delhi University, joint academic and research activities will be conducted by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) of DRDO and Delhi University's Dr Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research (ACBR). The Centre for Biomedical Technology (CBT) of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and the Dr Ambedkar Centre for Biomedical Research will have a joint programme for mission oriented, academic, basic and applied research activities. ACBR faculty and students will have access to the highly sophisticated and precise instruments available at the two premier national laboratories, INMAS and CBT.
