EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
Thefts
Two vehicles -- a moped (GJ-6-M-3745) and a scooter (GUJ-179)-are reported to have been stolen on Saturday from Gandhi Nagar Gruh and Lakkadpeeth Road respectively. The police have booked cases in this connection and are investigating the matter.

Suicide bid
The police have registered a case against Rashid Khan Babu Khan Pathan, a resident of GSFC Nagar, who attempted to commit suicide on Sunday by consuming an insecticide, apparently because of economic hardship.

Two missing
Two Gujarati-speaking minor girls are reported to be missing from the Panigate gate area of the city since June 13, the police said. Thirteen year-old, wheatish-complexioned Pujiben Rupabhai was wearing a yellow Punjabi suit when last seen, while fair complexioned Anitaben Gaturbhai, 7, was wearing a white frock, according to police.

Assaulted
Revaben, a resident of village Chapad near Vadodara, has complained to the police that one Narottambhai Pujabhai Mali forcibly entered her house and assaulted her on Monday.
