CBI hold Air-India

Central Bank of India snatched a point off fancied Air-India by holding them to a 1-1 draw in WIFA-conducted Super Division football league at the Cooperage ground, today.

Valerian D'Souza gave the bankmen the lead in the 51st minute. T Khambiton Singh restored parity for Air-India in the 71st minute.

Still going strong after completing 60, noted cricket commentator Suresh Saraiya was felicitated by former India cricket captain and manager Ajit Wadekar, yesterday, at the Mumbai Marathi Patrakar Bhavan.
