Young Boys get past Ashoka Club

NEW DELHI, June 21: Young Boys downed Ashoka Club 3-1 in a Group A match of the Delhi Soccer Association SAIL A division league match at the Ambedkar Stadium here today.Sanjay Kumar shot a brace to first Young Boys into the lead with a seventh minute strike and then round off the tally in the 23rd while Sumit Thapa added a goal in between. Ashoka got the consolation goal through Amit Chawla in the 27th minute. In another Group A match, Bangadarshan were held to the were held to a 1-1 draw by Ahbab Club. Bangadarshan took the lead in the 45th minute Ahbab's Bodhi Singh equalised five minutes later.
