Bodies recovered
The Katargam and Varachha police recovered two dead bodies and have sent them to the New Civil hospital for further examinations. Laljibhai Virhi Goladia (40), a resident of A/3 Shiv Apartments in Varachha, was found dead near the SMC Sewage Treatment Plant in the area, the police said. The body did not bear any injury marks, the Varachha police added. In another case, the Katargam police recovered the dead body of an unidentified 60-year-old man from the New Katargam GIDC on Tuesday noon. Cases under CrPC 174 have been registered at the police stations and are being investigated.

Suicide
One Amirbhai Malviya, a 37-year-old resident of Karimabad Society at Ghod Dod Road committed suicide on Tuesday by consuming an insecticide and was declared dead on admission to the Dr Savitaben Parth Hospital in the area on Tuesday afternoon, the Umra police stated. A case has been registered and the police are investigating.

Vehicles stolen
Two Hero Honda motorcycles were reported stolen in separate incidents of vehicles thefts registered in city police stations on Tuesday. Saakarlal Patel, a resident of Amroli, complained to the Mahidharpura police that his motorcycle (GJ 5 RR 4005) was stolen from the station area on Tuesday morning. A raincoat and other important papers were kept in the dickey, he added. In another case, a Hero Honda (GJ 15 H 5496) belonging to Bimple Sukhadia, a resident of Jalalpore near Navsari, was stolen from Maharana Pratap Garden at Nana Varachha where it was parked on Monday night. Cases under IPC 379 have been registered at the respective police stations and are being investigated.
