Besides bringing a no-confidence motion against the government, it is waiting in the wings to create bedlam in the Assembly from the very beginning of the session, according to Leader of the Opposition Amarsinh Chaudhary.

He made the Congress intention clear here on Thursday during an informal discussion with reporters. Armed with three major issues of cyclone, oil price rise and failure on relief and rehabilitation operations besides failure on the law and order front, he felt the party would be able to effectively corner the government.

He said the party was sure it would be able to bring in a motion of no-confidence supported by precedents. Chaudhary said there was absolute failure on the part of the state administration.
