Gandhian threatens stir

MUMBAI, JUNE 26: Noted Gandhian, Dr Usha Mehta has said the countrywide satyagraha against the government's notification on compulsory consumption of salt would be intensified if it was not withdrawn immediately.Speaking at a meeting on the issue at Mani Bhawan on Thursday, Mehta said freedom fighters were ``terribly dismayed by this development (notification) which brought back memories of the days of Dandi march organised by Mahatma Gandhi in 1930.''
