Double suicide: Couple's bail plea rejected

MUMBAI, June 26: The anticipatory bail applications of Balkrishna and Sonal Dalal, son and daughter-in-law of the elderly couple Vasudeo and Tara who jumped to death from their eighth-floor Kemp's Corner home on June 14, were rejected by Additional Sessions judge Abhay Thipsay.But the judge has directed Malabar Hill police not to arrest the accused till July 2, 1998, as they have decided to move High Court. Special public prosecutor Vidya Kasle submitted the suicide note left by Balkrishna blaming his son and daughter-in-law for constant harassment and abuse speaks of their involvement.
