DPCC president lamblasts BJP
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, June 28: The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) president Shiela Dikshit today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) honeymoon was over. She lambasted the government for poor governance, both at the Centre and in the Capital. She said that the BJP had no reason to celebrate its 100 days in power for it had been 100 days of ``mis-governance''. She said that the BJP government at the Centre had failed like its counterpart in the state ``and now people realise that they were hoodwinked by the BJP government''. ``It has been 100 days of severe blunders because of which the common man is reeling under spiralling prices, corruption, a complete breakdown of law and order and the country being isolated and denigrated among the comity of nations,'' she asserted. ``Likewise the residents of Delhi have been taken for a ride for the last four years and seven months at the hands of an incompetent, irresponsible and insentient BJP government,'' she added. While the BJP government at the Centre has completed 100 days in power, Dikshit today participated in 12 maun dharnas (silent protest meets) held in different parts of the city to highlight the failure of the BJP government both in the Capital and at the Centre.
