MUMBAI, June 29: The Maharashtra United Nations Association (MUNA) celebrated United Nations Charter Day in collaboration with the University of Mumbai on Friday at the Sir Cowasjee Jehanghir Convocation Hall.Over 500 students from the university participated in the function, presided over by Dr Snehalata S Deshmukh, Vice Chancellor, University of Mumbai. Max Heller, Consul General of Switzerland, was the chief guest.
A debate on ``Has United Nations succeeded in Ensuring Global Peace'' was also held, organised by the NSS.
