CHENNAI, June 29: The Chennai-based TVS group company Sundaram-Clayton Ltd has reported big drop in its sales for the year ended March 31,1997 in the wake of a downtrend in the commercial vehicle sector.Sales and other income have slumped to Rs 130 crore during 1997-98, down from Rs 210.66 crore in the previous year. There is a near 100 per cent erosion in its net profit which has slipped to Rs 9.76 crore (Rs 19.47 crore).
