Gang assaults and decamps with cash and valuables

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE  
BANGALORE, July 2: A four member gang armed with lethal weapons barged into a house, assaulted one of the inmates witha chopper and decamped with cash, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 35,000 in Byatarayanapura police limits during the wee hours on Wedneday. The gang knocked the door of Venkatachalaiah, weaver, in Hosaguddadhahalli and robbed the house.
