University of Mumbai to introduce Systems Management course
In an attempt to create better job opportunities for management students, the University of Mumbai is introducing a specialisation course in Systems Management for its two-year full-time Master's Degree Programme (MBA/MMS) from July this year. The programme will comprise technology-related topics and will be conducted at the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) -- the University department of management studies -- and other recognised/affiliated institutes conducting the MMS programme in Mumbai.

Centre for a blanket ban on lottery trade
The Government yesterday assured Parliament that it would soon bring in a comprehensive bill banning all kinds of lotteries throughout the country. The bill will be drafted in consultation with state governments.
