PI is sorry for wrongful arrest of doc couple

MUMBAI, JULY 3: A police inspector attached to the Oshiwara police station today apologised to the city civil and sessions court for arresting a doctor couple last year in spite of the court's order not to do so.Police Inspector Ajendrasingh Sadansingh Thakur, who was investigating into the cheating case lodged against Dr Narendra and Meera Rege of the Akshaya Hospital and Research Institute, Andheri, apologised after contempt proceedings were passed against his deputy police sub inspector Sunil Mane who had arrested the Rege couple.
