Suicide One Jethabhai Savjibhai, a 42-year old resident of D-Tenement of Umarwada area, committed suicide by hanging himself, according to a case registered in the Salabatpura police station. According to a note recovered from his house by the police, he said he was fed up with his life and so was ending it. A case under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been registered and investigations are on, the police said.Vehicle thefts Two vehicles, a Hero Honda motorcycle and a TVS Sccoty were reported stolen in separate cases of vehicle thefts registered in the Athwa Lines police station on Wednesday. Rajnikant Vasraam, a resident of Adajan Road area, stated his parked Hero Honda motorcycle (GJ 5 116) was stolen from opposite the Kshetrapal Mandir in Sarampura. In another case, Parshottam Patel, a resident of Kailashnagar, alleged that one Subhash alias Sunandan Gordhanbhai stole his TVS Scooty (GJ 5 LL 1110) from the Makkai Pool area. Cases under section 379 of the IPC have been registered at the police station. Three injured Three people sustained injuries in separate cases registered in the Salabatpura and Kapodara police stations on Wednesday. Sanjay Pagare, an autorickshaw driver, stated in a complaint in the Kapodara police station that his autorickshaw (GJ 5 U 7161) was hit by an unidentified driver of a Maruti Van (GJ 5 FF 8687) near the octroi post at Puna Kumbharia Road. In another case registered in the Kapodara police station, one Gorelal Prajapati stated the autorickshaw he was travelling in overturned because of rash driving. His leg was injured in the accident. In the third case, one Devji Bhargav was also injured when the rickshaw (GJ 5 Y 3644) he was travelling in overturned in the Nana Varachha area. A case has been registered and is being investigated.
