Man ends life
Twenty-year-old Navin Kachchi, a resident of Hirabaug area of Varachha committed suicide on Sunday afternoon by hanging himself to the roof his house, the Varachha police said. According to the police, though the family members rushed him a private clinic, he was declared dead on admission. The police are trying to find out the cause of death and have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.

Suicide
A young woman committed suicide by consuming a pesticide on Sunday morning, a case registered in the Katargam police station said. Meera Suryavanshi, a resident of Rajivnagar slum at Amroli consumed a rat poison after she had an argument with her husband Dilipsinh over a minor issue on Saturday night. According to the Katargam police, who have already begun interrogating Dilipsinh, she had asked him to fetch rations, which he forgot. A case has been registered at the Katargam police station and is being investigated.

Burns death
A 19-year-old housewife, who was being treated at the New Civil Hospital of the city for the past one week for burn injuries, succumbed on Sunday morning, the Rander police said. Kamalaben Damor, residing at Bhagunagar Society at Mora Bhagal area, received severe burn injuries on July 4 when a primus stove exploded, while she was cooking. She was since being treated at the New Civil Hospital. A case has been registered and the police are investigating.

Body found
The Katargam police have recovered the dead body of an unidentified 40-year-old man near the compound of the Ashwini Kumar cremation grounds on Saturday evening. The police, who have sent the body to the New Civil hospital for a post mortem, said that the deceased was blind. A case has been registered and is being investigated.
