New rly reservation system
The Railways will merge the Delhi reservation system with that of Howrah from June 19. According to the press release, the facility will enable passengers travelling on any train on Howrah region to book their tickets from Delhi and vice versa.Advertising Club appointments
G.K. Dhawan from Mode Advertising has been elected president of the executive committee of the Delhi Advertising Club for 1998-99. Reena Sundershan from The Indian Express and Mukesh Gupta from Rashtriya Outdoor advertising have been elected vice-presidents. R.C. Tanwar and Narinder Sharma are the secretary and joint secretary respectively, while Man Mohan Gupta the treasurer.
DPS poster exhibition
Delhi Public School Noida organised an exhibition on the theme of `Say no to polybags' on Friday. A total of 150 posters made by students of DPS schools in Vasant Kunj, Mathura Road, Faridabad, Maruti Kunj, Mewat, Dwarka and Noida were displayed.
