KUALA LUMPUR, July 19: New Zealand scored the deciding runs in the last over today, defeating Australia by one run and winning the Super Max 8s cricket tournament. New Zealand scored 99 to 98 for Australia. Mathew Horne had 36 runs for New Zealand, and Andrew Symonds led Australia with 22.In other games, South Africa beat India by six runs, and New Zealand defeated Pakistan by seven runs.South Africa scored 140 to 134 for India. Morne van Wyk led South Africa with 75 not out, and Rohan Gavaskar was top for India with 66 not out.New Zealand scored 150 runs in its allotted 14 overs and Pakistan replied with 143.The top scorer for New Zealand was Chris Harris with 71 runs off 27 balls, while Abdur Razzaq led Pakistan with 29 off six deliveries.
