New fashion institute in City

CHANDIGARH, July 19: An institute of fashion designing was inaugurated by noted painter and sculptor Shiv Singh, here today. Known as the National Institute of Fashion and Creative Art (NIFCA), the institute isa joint venture of the management of National Institute of Technical Education (NITE) and Vijayshree Productions, a cultural organisation.To start with, the institute will offer courses in fashion designing and textile designing, and it proposes to start various other courses including advertising and sales, public relations, tourism, film production, acting and direction in the near future.
