Cauvery will take its own course
The BJP is preparing for the worst, with its leaders ruling out the possibility of notifying the Cauvery draft scheme. The Government is expected to seek another adjournment in the Supreme Court today, despite the threat of "disastrous consequences" issued by AIADMK chief J Jayalalitha.

Nothing could have prepared the Sena-BJP government in Maharashtra for the embarrassment it received from the treasury benches yesterday. Two senior Shiv Sena members shocked the House when they charged that they were threatened in the morning by a dozen goons to discontinue their activities.
