Four convicted for killing deer

NASHIK, July 24: The Malegaon Court today sentenced four persons to one year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of 1,000 rupees each, for killing four deer.The four accused -- Mohammed Shafik Moosa, Abdul Khalik, Shafiq Ahmed Mohammed Yasin and Mohammed Gufran Ramzan -- had ventured into prohibited forest area and killed four deer on September 24, 1992.
