Overpopulation, nation's liability: Bhogishayana

SOLAPUR, July 23: Former Shivaji University Vice-Chancellor K Bhogishayana yesterday underlined the need to take firm steps for family planning in the country to avoid population explosion that is hindering the nation's progress.In his presidential address at a function organised by city unit of the Family Planning Association to mark its 20th anniversary, Bhogishayana lamented the lack of a conducive atmosphere for the passing of effective legislations to check population explosion.
