Parmatha reported to the police that two Dogri-speaking men came to her house saying they were her husband, Corporal Vinod Kumar's cousins, and had come from his native place in Jammu.

After she led the two into her house, they reportedly forced her to part with her jewellery and cash at knife-point. The alleged culprits took away gold jewellery and Rs 4,000 in cash, she added.

The police have registered a case and sent off a team to Jammu to nab the alleged culprits, sources said.
