Prime Minister A B Vajpayee yesterday categorically announced India's intention to adhere to the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), thereby signalling New Delhi's willingness to substantially engage with the five nuclear powers.

A day of mayhem in Kashmir
Foreign mercenaries killed 19 members of the majority community, including 14 children, in Buffliaz area of Poonch yesterday. Militants also shot dead seven Hindus in two separate strikes in Udhampur and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir since Monday.
