Adrian scored the first goal in the 14th minute when he dribbled past a St Lawrence defender and bulged the net from close. St Lawrence goalkeeper B Abhishek, who otherwise had a good game, dived full to his right but failed to reach to the ball.

OLS defender Saby Godinho increased the tally minutes before the half-time and sealed the win.

St Lawrence, however, came back strongly in the second half and reduced the margin in the 32nd minute when Rehan Khan shot past Gul Mohamad, the OLS goalkeeper.

Spurred by the goal, the Vashi boys did mount pressure but the equaliser proved elusive.

In another match of under-14 (Division III-B), Seventh Day Adventist drubbed St Xavier's Boys Academy 4-0. Ansari Faisal, Dhruv Mubin, Ansari Waseem and ShaikhIrfan scored a goal each for the winners.
