CHANDIGARH, Aug 6: Jagdish Walia took over as the chariman of the Markfed here today relieving Amarjit Singh Samra of the post.It may be recalled that after the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court yesterday, the previous order of the Punjab government appointing Walia as the chairman became operative.
The officers and staff, besides Information and Public Relations Minister Sewa Singh Sekhwan greeted Walia in his office.
