Chains snatched Two cases of chain-snatching were reported from different parts of the city on Wednesday, the police said. In the first case, Indiraben Raman Raojibhai Patel, a resident of Vishnu Kunj Society near Rajesh Towers, complained to the Gorva police that two motorcycle-borne youths snatched a gold chain from her neck when she was walking near the Mangalam Park Crossing. In the second case, Yashodaben Mahasukhlal Panchal, a resident of Kamlanehru Park Society said that two youths on a motorcycle forcibly pulled a gold chain from her neck and escaped. Cases have been registered and are being investigated.Woman drowns One Ashaben Bharat Kumar Jayantilal Mistry, a resident of Fatehpura, died after she fell into a well while drawing water, the police said. Her body was fished out of the well by fire brigade personnel and rushed to SSG Hospital where she was declared dead, the police added. Body recovered The body of an unidentified man, aged about 40, was recovered from a storm water drain near Bapod Octroi post under Panigate police station on Wednesday morning, the police said.
