Sai-Betina in semi-finals

NEW DELHI, August 14: India's Sai Jayalakshmi, partnering Betina Auer of Germany, will be playing the doubles semi-finals of the German $ 10,000 WTA event tonight.Bhupathi-Lapentti out Second seeded Mahesh Bhupathi and Paul Haarhuis got knocked out by Pablo Albano (Argentina) and Nicolas Lapentti (Eucador) in straight sets at the Cincinnati Super 9. They lost 5-7, 6-7 (3-7). For this upset win, Albano and Lapentti, ranked No 44, rake in 45 bonus points. Paes ousted Second seed Leander Paes was eliminated from the Binghampton Challenger by Italian Christiano Caratti 3-6, 3-6 in the second round. Caratti was once ranked 26 in the world.
