Muneer powerful shot from top of the box got deflected off a defender before beating St Ignatious's goalkeeper. But Muneer also missed almost half a dozen chances in the first-half. The team from Madanpura dominated the first-half as the boys did not allowed the ball to even cross the half line. But they were unable to take lead. And in the second half, St Ignatius started playing more attacking game. In fact they had couple of good opportunities to go ahead but wet ground conditions denied them any fruit.Earlier, in a under-14 match, a brace by Kurt D'Lima helped the St Stanisluas to top the division as they beat Don Bosco, Matunga 3-0 today. Cornel Alan Aguiar scored the third goal.

Displaying some good football, Stanislaus took lead earlywhen Kurt found the net from close range. Cornel added the second in the beginning of the second-half. In the dying minutes, Kurt won a ball from Bosco defender and placed his shot to the right corner of the goal.
