KUALA LUMPUR, AUG 16: Indian pro Arjun Singh shot a par round for the third consecutive day to finish a joint 25th in the $200,000 Volvo Masters of Malasia Golf Tournament here today which was won in a dramatic way by England's Chrish Williams.The other indians in the field at the Kota Permai Golf and Country Club Vivek Bhandari (49th), Arjun Atwal and Gaurav Ghei (60th) and Amritinder Singh (67th) fared poorly.
Arjun, whose best round was of 70 on the opening day, had three par rounds of 72 to finish with 286 along with seven others and win a prize money of $ 1,890.
Bhandari was joint 14th with five others after a 74 today and a total of 293 while Atwal and Ghei, with 294, shared the 60th spot with five golfers. Amritinder, followed his 75 in the third with a poor 77 in the last and managed 295 for the 67th place.
A stunned Chris Williams of England, inspired by a hole in one on the 14th and aided by a dramatic final round collapse by Myanmar's Zaw Moe, triumphed to claim the $ 32,300 topprize.
