Deepender, Ajay best Ajay Raj Singh (Punjab), who won gold medals in 100m, 200m and 4 x 100m relay, was declared the best boy athlete at the conclusion of the second NCC Games. Deepender Kaur, also of Punjab, earned the best girl athlete trophy. She won the gold in 100m, 200m and long jump and got a bronze in 4 x 100m relay. The Prime Minister's overall championship trophy went to Punjab (comprising Punjab, Haryana and Himachal NCC Directorates) while Maharashtra were runners-up.Hindkishore football The inaugural Hindkishore School football tournament (under-16) for the Milo Cup will be played from September 1.
