S.A.S. NAGAR, August 16: A case has been registered at the Phase-I police station of the township against two Chandigarh-based lawyers over a property dispute on a complaint filed by Pardeep Kumar Sharam, a resident of the township.The complainant alleged that these two advocates came to his rented house in Phase III-A on Wednesday in a Sumo along with a truck ladden with bricks and other construction material. He added that he objected to the unloading of the bricks in front of the entrance of his rented house. On his objection, Sharma alleged, the advocates grew angry and they beat him up and also his father before fleeing. According to police officials, a case has been registered.
under Sections 323, 325 and 34 of the IPC on the basis of the medical report of Pardeep Sharma and his father who sustained injuries in the melee. Investigations into the allegation have already been started, officials added. However, no arrest has been made in this regard so far.
