Demolition of jhuggis criticised
The Bharat Vikash Manch at its meeting held here today criticised PUDA officials for the demolition of 500 jhuggis located at the Tower Colony, Shiv Colony and Jhota Kut Colony of S.A.S. Nagar. About 250 regular members and candidate members of the Chandigarh Press Club and their families were administered the second dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine today at subsidised rates at the club premises.

Parkash Kaur, mother of Mandeep Singh, a journalist expired this morning. She was 64. She is survived by her husband and two sons. Bhog ceremony will take place on Friday, August 21 at 2.30 pm at the Sector 21-C gurdwara.
