VADODARA, Aug 17: Residents of the Siddharaj Jaisinh Boys' Hostel, M S University, submitted a memorandum to Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dipak Kumar De on Monday in protest against the lack of facilities at the hostel.Alleging that the food served was inedible, they complained that the water-coolers were non-functional most of the time. They claimed that despite several written complaints to the hostel warden, no action had been taken on these fronts.
In their memorandum to the PVC, the boys also said they were no longer allowed to go to the terrace and that the recreational facilities were inadequate.
He is said to have taken stock of their complaints and said they would be looked into immediately.
