FIIs become net sellers again

MUMBAI, Aug 18: Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers during the last two weeks with a net negative investment of US $ 56 million.After being net sellers through April, May, June and the first two weeks of July ,FIIs invested up to $ 42.9 million in equity markets during July 11 to 24. SEBI said, gross purchases during the last fortnight amounted to Rs 372 crore as against sales of Rs 611.2 crore.
