While Health Minister Dr Daulat Aher will look after Dhule district, Transport minister Divakar Raote will take care of Thane district. Minister of State for Environment and Forests, Vinod Gudadhe-Patil will be guardian ministers for Amravati while Minister of State for Sports and Youth Welfare, Pratap Jadhav, will be minister for Akola district. Yavatmal will be the responsibility of Minister of State for Revenue, Digambar Pawar-Patil. Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Vinayak Korade has been given charge of Buldhana district.

The newly- formed Vashim and Nandurbar districts will have Labour Minister Sabir Sheikh and Minister of State for Health, Dr Vijaykumar Gavit, as guardian ministers respectively.
