PCB chairman, Khalid Mahmood, and some other members of the Board's executive council are likely to convene an emergency meeting of the Board's supreme body to consider disciplinary action against Majid Khan for his comments against the appointment of Aamir Sohail in the media.

Newspaper reports said PCB's executive council meeting will be convened shortly to take up the issue after Sohail himself drew attention of the PCB chairman towards the issue.

Laver improving
LOS ANGELES: Rod Laver, tennis' only two-time Grand Slam winner, tossed a tennis ball and swung a racket yesterday as part of physical therapy for his recent stroke. "I'm feeling very good," he said.Laver, 60, remains in good condition at UCLA medical center'sneuro-rehabilitation unit, hospital spokeswoman Roxanne Yamaguchi Moster said.

Laver suffered a moderate stroke on July 27 while taping a television interview. He became weak on his right side.
