CISF taekwon-do team wins trophy
CISF taekwon-do team bagged three gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the 18th National Colour Belt Taekwon-do Championship held at K.D. Singh Babu stadium, Lucknow, last week. CISF also won the team championship trophy by securing 28 points. ASI K. Santosh Singh (flyweight), HC Deepak Tewari (bantomweight) and HC Rajesh Kumar (welterweight) won the gold while HC O. Khamba Singh (fly), L/NK AK Dilip Singh (feather) and HC Sanjeev Kumar (bantom) bagged the silver medals. HC RK Budha Chander Singh and Constable AR Jat won bronze in lightweight category.Sidharth excels
A brilliant century by Sidharth Verma helped IG Stadium beat Madras Coaching Centre by 99 runs in the Under-19 three match series tournament at Dayal Singh College ground. Shastri (45) and Huddit (33) were the other main contributors for the winners.

Ramjas school wins
In the well contested encounter Ramjas School No 4 prevailed over Modern School, Vasant Vihar, 60-25 in the Ramjas Memorial Basketball tournament. Yogesh (22) and Anil Jain (12) were the top scorer for Ramjas while Vikram and Jayram (6 each) score for the Modern school. In another matches, Bal Bharti School trounced St Columbas 60-34. Manav (12) and Prayag (8) were the principal scorers for the winner and Kunal scored (11) for the loser. Modern School defeated Ramjas School, Anand Parbat, 54-18.
Sonnet triumphs
Sonnet Cricket Academy beat City Boys Cricket Academy by three wickets to enter into the semifinal of the first Namdhari Suba Ganda Singh Ji memorial cricket tournament (under-13 boys) at Hari Nagar sports complex.
Brief Scores: Sonnet Cricket Academy: 117 for 7 in 23.3 overs (Shikhar Dhawan 37, Arun Chaudhary 3 for 17) beat City Boys Cricket Academy: 116 for 9 in 25 overs (Jaideep Chaudhary 46, Ankit Kapila 4 for 11).
Tarun shines
Tarun Tiwari, with his impressive all-round game, guided Maharaja Agarsen Cricket Academy (u-19) beat Star Cricket Club by six wickets to enter the semi-final of the Vivekanand cricket tournament.

In other matches, AK Jha (2) drew with Shakti Bhushan (2.5), Sandeep Chitkara (1.5) drew with Anil Verma (2) and Akshat Kumar (2) beat Bipin Mathur (1).
Chandra advances
Manan Chandra overcame Sandeep Betala 4-1 in best of seven frames semi-final league of the Delhi State Junior Snooker Championship. Manan won 75-56, 95-23, 53-56, 87-34 and 64-51. In other matches, Rishab Thukral outclassed Amit Sharma in straight games while Amit Sharma went down fighting to Manan Chandra.
Delhi Youth win
Delhi Youth beat Punjab Olympian 3-0 in Delhi State Hockey League for Clubs at Shivaji Stadium. Nirmal scored the first goal in the eighth minute while Bani scored the second in 12th minute . The third goal was scored by Alexender in the 39th minute. In other matches, Brothers Club beat Delhi Tigers Club 2-1 while Delhi Sports and Invaders fought to 1-1 draw. Manoj of Invaders (55th) and Davender of Delhi Sports (60th) were the scorers.
